The wait is almost over. After an earlier preview that only pointed to a vague fall window, the Nike Mind 002 Flyknit “Black and Anthracite” now has a firm date on the Nike launch calendar: November 10.
Dressed in a tonal palette of Black, Anthracite and Dark Smoke Grey, this version keeps things understated and leaves the technology underfoot to do the talking.

The pair is built around Nike Mind technology, an idea that came out of the brand’s in-house Mind Science Department. Twenty-two individual nodes sit within the outsole, rising and falling with every step. As they press into the bottom of the foot, they create a pattern that Nike says science has shown to activate sensory areas of the brain. The intended payoff is a more grounded stride, one that keeps the wearer tuned in to their surroundings.
Of course, a concept like that only works if the shoe feels good to wear. A stretchy fabric lines the footbed, giving each node room to move while keeping the sensation soft against the skin. Below it, a soft foam midsole supplies plush, responsive cushioning, making the shoe a candidate for all-day wear.
With its dark, low-key colorway and a $145 USD price tag, the “Black and Anthracite” is an easy one to slot into a daily rotation. Mark November 10 in your calendar and keep SNKRS open when the pair drops.
