Full Court Flex: BAPE and adidas Tap Jalen Williams for a Y2K Hoops Revival Led by the Crazy Energy+

Basketball's golden era is back on the schedule. adidas and BAPE have reunited for a new collaborative collection that looks to the hardwood culture of the late 1990s and early 2000s, with NBA standout Jalen Williams leading the campaign.
At the center of the project is the adidas Crazy Energy+, one of adidas Basketball's newest performance franchises. BAPE reworks the court silhouette with an all-over metallic "COLOR CAMO SILVER" print, giving the shoe a loud, futuristic shine. A knitted "WGM" (World Gone Mad) lace overlay adds another layer of BAPE identity, and the pair comes with two sets of interchangeable laces so the look can be switched up. The result pairs modern technical court construction with the graphic attitude of archival streetwear.
The footwear is backed by a full apparel and accessories range built around BAPE's signature "COLOR CAMO PURPLE." The standout piece is a black varsity jacket finished with purple paneling, gold studs and a bold chenille "World Gone Mad" graphic, a nod to the oversized, statement-making team wear of the era.
Together, the pieces connect today's performance technology with the codes of Japanese streetwear, built for both the court and the street.
Release details: The full footwear and apparel collection arrives on November 7 through the adidas CONFIRMED app, select retailers, BAPE STORE locations and BAPE.COM.
