A.P.C. x Barbour have unveiled their Fall/Winter 2026 collection, a complete capsule built around Barbour’s archival Premium Thornproof Wax Cotton and A.P.C.’s denim know-how. The two labels trade materials, proportions and utility details across outerwear, jeans, knitwear, shirts and accessories, folding each brand’s signatures into the other’s staples.

The outerwear lineup draws on three established Barbour patterns. The Beaufort for men, first introduced by Dame Margaret Barbour in 1983, and the Spey for women, originally built to be worn with fishing tackle, both keep their standard proportions, while the longer Sugarlump Bedale opens up into a roomier, straighter cut. A.P.C.’s denim jackets inform the pocket construction and structural details on each style, giving the waxed shells a cleaner, more tailored edge.

Fabric is the technical centerpiece of the release. Premium Thornproof Wax Cotton, revived from Barbour’s archive, uses a tighter weave than standard waxed cotton, which adds body, toughness and richer color saturation. It comes only in dark sage and dark navy, and like a pair of raw jeans, the wax picks up a patina that deepens with every wear.

Barbour’s functional hardware carries through the capsule. Utility pockets, cuffs, wool collars matched to each shell and detachable hoods appear across multiple pieces, and select styles pick up the brand’s signature D-ring. Traditional tartan lines garments and accessories throughout, keeping Barbour’s heritage visible every time a jacket is opened.

The denim side includes jackets, A.P.C.’s New Standard and Elisabeth jeans, and a skirt, each finished with tartan on the waistbands, pocket linings and back panels. Totes and caps borrow graphic and functional cues from the outerwear, while the accessories selection rounds things out with waxed and tartan bags, dark navy boots and dark sage clogs.

The A.P.C. x Barbour FW26 collection is available now online and at select stores.
