Needles has partnered with Tailor Toyo and SUN SURF to introduce a special collaborative apparel capsule. Marking the first joint project between all three Japanese imprints, the collection is highlighted in a campaign starring actor Kenichi Takito.

Drawing from Tailor Toyo’s decades-long history of producing traditional souvenir jackets, the Needles x Tailor Toyo Souvenir Jacket adapts a classic U.S. Navy silhouette. Constructed from heavy wool, the jacket is detailed with an embroidered Papillon logo across the back alongside intricate embroidery listing cities Needles has visited for past visual campaigns.

The Needles x Sun Surf Hawaiian Shirt replaces traditional rayon with an autumn-ready flannel fabric. Sun Surf selected two archival Papillon-themed motifs for the project, applying distinct graphic patterns and colorways to reflect Needles' aesthetic identity.

The Needles x Tailor Toyo and Sun Surf collection releases on Saturday, October 3, at 11:30 a.m. JST via Nepenthes locations and the official Nepenthes online store.
