VIVET has officially debuted its inaugural collection with a runway show staged at Cipriani in Lower Manhattan on September 12, 2026. Founded by digital creator and entrepreneur Kai Cenat, the label fuses contemporary tailoring, sportswear heritage, and subcultural narratives across menswear, womenswear, footwear, and luxury leather goods for the brands debut Spring/Summer 2027 collection at New York Fashion Week.
Derived from the Latin phrase meaning "he, she, or it will live forever," VIVET reflects Cenat's personal design evolution following months spent studying textile manufacturing, pattern-making, and leather construction in Italy. The runway presentation unfolded across three chronological acts. Act One opened with unrefined volume, anchored by the hand-sewn Beginner Hoodie. Act Two introduced subcultural references through heavy leather overcoats, razor-thin denim, and structured boots. Act Three achieved full design resolution, featuring architectural suiting, fluid silk, and leather coats styled fully closed for the first time.
Leather goods anchor the brand's core offering, highlighted by the hero Cenova bag and the Streamer bag—a luxury leather translation of digital broadcasting. The collection utilizes four primary fabrications: cotton canvas, denim, neoprene, and hand-finished leather. Key garments like the scuba moto shirt, varnished jeans, and cargo work jacket incorporate subtle references to Cenat's Haitian heritage and carnival tradition, complemented by exposed seams, gusseted elbows, and hand-applied patinated waxes.
Select pieces from the VIVET debut collection are available now online.
