The result keeps the relaxed comfort of its sleepwear origins while sharpening the details that would otherwise read as strictly at-home.
The construction starts with the fabric. relume specified a 60-count cotton stripe, a supple yarn that gives the cloth a dry, skin-friendly hand and a naturally wrinkled, seersucker-like surface texture. That uneven finish keeps the jacket breathable enough to work as an early-autumn layer without trapping heat, and the unlined 100 percent cotton body stays light on the shoulders.
The headline change sits in the piping. Where a typical pajama shirt runs solid-color trim along its edges, this exclusive swaps in piping cut from the same striped fabric as the body. Matching the trim to the cloth mutes the detailing, pulling the whole piece toward a unified, premium finish that wears cleanly as light outerwear rather than announcing its sleepwear roots.
The silhouette and collar received their own reworking. relume adjusted the body length, sleeve length, and cuff volume to rein in the loose loungewear proportions, landing on a cleaner, slightly relaxed cut. At the neck, the collar's roundness has been reduced and a button loop added, shifting the look toward a crisp open-collar shirt. Offered in Bordeaux and Sax Blue across M and L sizing, the jacket remains hand-washable.
