Summary

GRS teams up with viral social media account ShibuyaMeltdown for an apparel capsule.Capsule includes tees, caps, photoprint shirts, and bags inspired by sights from the average Tokyo nightlife. The collab will be available via a Tokyo pop-up from July 26 to August 2.

Hong Kong-based fashion label GrowthRing & Supply (GRS) has announced a collaborative capsule with viral social media account ShibuyaMeltdown. Inspired by the iconic Instagram page that documents Tokyo's late-night subculture - capturing exhausted commuters and partygoers sleeping on the streets under the glow of neon lights - the joint release reinterprets this uniquely Japanese phenomenon as a compelling cultural artifact.

Priced from ¥2,068 - ¥29,260 JPY (approx. $13 - $179 USD), the collaborative product range translates the raw grit and nocturnal humor of Tokyo's street scene into streetwear staples. The lineup includes the Shibuya Meltdown Tee, Embroidery Patch Cap, Photoprint Shirt and a shopping tote, each incorporating visual motifs tied to Shibuya’s midnight scenes. Highlights within the tops include custom typography reading "Shibuya Meltdown" across the chest, pocket accents with skull-inspired graphics, and bold Kanji lettering that translates to "Shibuya Meltdown" overlaying distressed red spray-paint effects.

To celebrate the drop, GRS is hosting a special one-week popup shop from July 26 to August 2, 2026, preceded by an open-entry reception party on July 25 at BENCH AT THE GREENE MEIJIPARKMAE in Tokyo.
