Converse has officially joined forces with one of anime's most defining franchises to launch the limited-edition Converse x Dragon Ball Z collection. Designed to "power up" everyday street style, the collaborative release transforms classic staples and signature Chuck Taylor silhouettes into a wearable homage to the show's characters.
The footwear lineup is the centerpiece, with seven character-driven Chuck Taylor shoes. Highlights include the Shenron Chuck 70 that's crafted in premium canvas with full-length dragon graphics, as well as the Goku Chuck Taylor that's finished in bright orange with a Dragon Ball hangtag. The Vegeta pair comes in blue and white with a detachable Scouter charm, while the Frieza edition features a purple patent leather tongue. Other standout designs include the Cell Chuck Taylor with horn-like flanges, the Majin Buu variant and a Fusion kids’ edition inspired by Kid Trunks and Goten.
Rounding out the collaboration is a focused apparel line built around the anime's highly recognizable motifs. The lineup consists of a fleece hoodie and two graphic short-sleeve T-shirts, all rendered with bold, dynamic artwork pulled directly from the franchise's most iconic moments.
The complete Dragon Ball Z collection is slated for an initial rollout via Converse in North America and Greater China on July 23, 2026, followed by a wider global release on August 11, 2026.
