The second highly anticipated collection from "mononoke made" - the joint creative project spearheaded by world-renowned contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and Yuta Hosokawa - the designer behind READYMADE and ©SAINT Mxxxxxx - has been officially unveiled.

The project continues to merge Murakami’s iconic art universe with Hosokawa’s craftsmanship, featuring eight apparel styles that reinterpret motifs such as Kaikai & Kiki, Panda, Sakura, Eyeball and characters from Murakami’s long‑running animation project 6HP (Six Heart Princess). Each piece is treated as wearable art, with graphics spread across front, back and sleeves and playful hidden details embedded within the designs.

Standout pieces include the heavy-hitting L/S T-Shirt_Superflat, which places the 6HP animated cast across the chest, symbolic kanji on the sleeves, and a portrait of Murakami himself on the back. Another core masterpiece is the Soccer Shirt_Sakura, a pink, super-wide sportswear top completely woven with cherry blossom graphics and uniquely embellished with custom-cast, solid 925 sterling silver skull buttons. Each garment in the collection is subjected to Hosokawa’s signature manual aging and hand-painted distressing, imbuing every individual item with a distinct vintage patina and unique character.

Prices range from ¥38,500 - ¥154,000 JPY (approx. $240 - $961 USD), the second "mononoke made" capsule is scheduled for a staggered launch throughout the month of June 2026. Physical items will first become available for in-store purchases on June 20, 2026, rolling out exclusively at the Tonari no Zingaro gallery storefront in Tokyo alongside select authorized global stockists. Exactly one week later, on June 27, 2026, the collection will make its digital debut via the respective retailers' official online platforms.
