Before a single ball has been kicked at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Nike is already dominating the global style conversation. Moving far beyond standard federation kits, the Swoosh has officially unveiled its highly anticipated "X2" Collection—a sprawling initiative that pairs seven of the world's most influential creative forces with their respective national football teams. While the collaborative apparel is undoubtedly turning heads, the true centerpiece of the rollout is the footwear: a seven-part reimagining of the all-new Nike Cryoshot sneaker that transforms legendary, vintage pitch-ready boots into high-end, off-pitch heat.

The genius of the X2 sneaker collection lies in its variety, with each partner selecting a specific iconic Nike boot from the archives to serve as the foundation for their bespoke Cryoshot design. For Canada, Drake's NOCTA imprint brings a sporty, tech-heavy aesthetic to a classic Tiempo '94 base, highlighted by striking University Gold accents. Meanwhile, representing the USA, the Virgil Abloh Archive (V.A.A.) honors the legacy of the late designer and women's soccer icon Mia Hamm by applying Off-White's signature deconstructed design language and "AIR" branding to the Zoom M9.

European football heritage gets a massive streetwear upgrade, starting with London skate heavyweight Palace, which applies an edgy, black leather execution with Infrared detailing to the Air Speed M for England. Amsterdam's Patta taps into its legendary Air Max lineage to deliver a stunning Metallic Silver and Hyper Crimson take on the iconic Mercurial Vapor R9 for the Netherlands. For France, luxury label Jacquemus elevates the Tiempo R10 into a chic, runway-ready silhouette dressed in refined white, royal, and red.

Rounding out the global roster, South Korea is represented by G-DRAGON's PEACEMINUSONE, which injects a bright, playful energy into the CTR360 Maestri II silhouette. Finally, despite Nigeria not playing in the tournament, the Super Eagles' undeniable cultural influence is celebrated via British-Nigerian artist Slawn, who covers a 1976 Striker-inspired Cryoshot in his signature hand-drawn, graffiti-style artwork.

Whether you are a die-hard football fan, a dedicated sneakerhead, or a high-fashion enthusiast, the Nike X2 Cryoshot collection offers a piece of history for everyone. The entire seven-sneaker lineup will see a staggered global release. Pairs will drop first via the respective collaborators' channels on June 11, 2026, followed by a release at Dover Street Market locations on June 13. A wider launch via Nike SNKRS and select global retailers will take place on June 16. Every pair in the collection is priced at $210 USD.
