424 x Under Armour Tease World Cup Capsule With Global Football Stars

SUMMARY

  • Los Angeles-based 424 partners with Under Armour to outfit international athletes for the World Cup

  • The custom leather jackets reinterpret the sportswear brand's signature raglan style

  • The capsule collection is expected to debut officially at Paris Fashion Week SS27

424 and Under Armour are officially one step ahead on World Cup tunnel fit snaps with their clever collection rollout. The Los Angeles-based luxury menswear and the American sportswear giant discreetly unveiled a series of bespoke leather jackets for the tournament yesterday, but instead of opting for a traditional lookbook, the brands let the players do the talking, with global footballers debuting the looks directly on their personal accounts.

Germany’s Antonio RĂ¼diger (@toniruediger), England’s Ollie Watkins (@olliewatkins),  and Spain’s Ferran Torres (@ferrantorres) have all styled out the collection in separate posts, revealing that the capsule features more collaborative pieces beyond the rugged leather jackets. Other items teased in the social media rollout include 424 x Under Armour caps, sweatshirts, and varsity-style jackets featuring overblown and overlapping logos. Tying the wider collection back to the World Cup, each of the bespoke leather jackets is painted in colorways that correspond to the national teams of the players debuting them.

The collection falls right in line with 424's football-inspired Americana aesthetic, which was previously seen in the 2025 debut of a Nike R9 cutoff and the Real Madrid "Beckham" jacket from his 2024 line. Furthermore, Andradade was named Creative Advisor to the Leagues Cup in 2021 and, in 2019, collaborated with Arsenal.

Rumors suggest that the wider 424 x Under Armour capsule collection will be officially showcased during Paris Fashion Week as part of the label's SS27 presentation.
