The launch was met with unprecedented enthusiasm; on opening day, a queue of more than 2,000 people formed before 7 a.m. for the entry lottery, a turnout that local observers noted was record-breaking for the city.
Adjacent to the store, CURRY UP BANGKOK brings HUMAN MADE’s signature Japanese-style curry to Southeast Asia for the first time. The restaurant features neon signage, India-inspired motifs and a café-like atmosphere overlooking the retail space, creating a community hub where food and fashion intersect. Early visitors likened the experience to dining in a “museum café,” reinforcing the brand’s vision of cultivating culture through immersive environments.
To celebrate the grand opening, the store featured exclusive pieces designed specifically for the Thai market. The collection is anchored by a specialized pink elephant graphic - a tribute to Thailand's national symbol - integrated with HUMAN MADE's iconic heart and animal motifs.
