Japanese label UNDERCOVER has partnered with British heritage brand Baracuta to release a distinctive take on the classic G4 jacket. First unveiled as part of UNDERCOVER's Spring/Summer 2026 women's collection, "but beautiful 6...", the outerwear piece distorts traditional tailoring codes through Jun Takahashi's lens of imperfection and asymmetry.
The collaboration centers on a reconstructed version of the G4, utilizing a cotton/polyester blend Baracuta Cloth shell known for its water-repellent and breathable properties. The silhouette is defined by a deliberately distorted pattern that creates an uneven, asymmetrical profile. A key design element is the "blown-out" lining, which extends visibly beyond the hem to suggest a garment in mid-transformation.
Additional detailing includes a collaboration-specific tag on the interior, while exterior tags on the side and back appear to "pop out," reinforcing the deconstructed aesthetic. The jacket is offered in three colorways: Light Blue, Beige, and Dark Navy.
The UNDERCOVER x Baracuta G4 jacket is available now via UNDERCOVER stores and the official online store.
