The ROA Fall/Winter 2025 campaign, as seen through the lens of photographer Bella Newman, offers a stark, transformative view of outdoor performance. Shot entirely in infrared, the campaign renders the world in black and white, exposing what typically remains unseen. The setting, deep within the swamps and cave systems of the southern Appalachian range, casts a group of adventurers both on the hunt and on the run. Stalked by an invisible creature, the thermal imagery makes the landscape alien, turning skin to clay and eyes into voids, capturing life through heat.

The collection itself is a study in thresholds between nature and artifice. FW25 effectively merges the high-performance ethos of alpine gear with an adaptable, urban silhouette. Outerwear is emphasized as oversized and modular, featuring boxy jackets with expandable backs and adjustable details. This is contrasted with slim, ergonomic silhouettes, such as compression leggings and sheer mesh dresses. Functionality is embedded through details like thumbholes and laser-cut ventilation. The materials reinforce this hybrid identity, blending organic cottons and solvent-free waterproofing with traditional craft elements like mohair mélanges and Fair Isle techniques reimagined for performance.

The ROA FW25 collection is set to release on October 23 via HBX.
