Summary

  • JOURNAL STANDARD relume and New Era are collaborating on a special "Lach" Low Profile 9FIFTY cap
  • The cap uses high-quality Lovat tweed from Scotland and features a durable, rounded silhouette
  • The collaboration will be released online in late December

JOURNAL STANDARD relume and New Era are once again collaborating, this time on a special edition of the "Lach" Low Profile 9FIFTY cap. This unique cap features tweed from Lovat, founded in 1868 in Hawick, Scotland, the birthplace of tweed.

Building on the classic NEW ERA Low Profile 9FIFTY model, this new version integrates over 100 years of Lovat tweed’s quality. It features a rounded silhouette and an increased stitch count, designed for durability in harsh climates. The cap's earth tones are ideal for hunting camouflage, and its heavy yet firm texture makes it an appealing piece.

A matching keychain, also made from the same Lovat tweed, will be released alongside the cap. The JOURNAL STANDARD x New Era 2025 "Lach" Low Profile 9FIFTY, featuring Lovat tweed, is scheduled for release in late December online.
