Stüssy has confirmed that it will be re-opening the doors again to its New York flagship this week.
Originally born from the surf scene in Southern California, Stüssy established a significant presence in New York's streetwear culture by opening its first store in the early 1990s. Over the years, the brand's New York stores became iconic destinations for streetwear enthusiasts, offering a mix of signature designs and exclusive collaborations. At the end of 2023, Stüssy closed its former New York flagship store, located at 176 Spring Street in SoHo, marking the end of an era for the brand's physical presence in the city.
Last October, the brand announced its preparation to open a new permanent flagship in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood. Until now, no updates have been provided regarding the new store’s estimated opening. The grand opening of the Stüssy New York Chapter will take place on February 14, 11 a.m. EST. For more updates, keep an eye out on Stüssy’s social platforms.
